Coming from pure granite soils, the 2021 Saint Joseph Clos De La Ribaudy has a classic, almost old school Saint-Joseph-like nose of raspberries, violets, and flowers, with a beautiful spine of minerality. Medium-bodied, supple, and elegant on the palate, it’s not massively concentrated or structured, but it plays nicely in the style of the vintage and will be a joy to drink over the coming 7-8 years.
