If this Bordeaux blend didn’t have such minty freshness on the nose, it might come across as a California cult cabernet doppelganger. Enormous freshness and tannins, but for us, less emphasis on concentration maximization would have made for a more elegant result. Dramatic finish that has a remarkable amount of energy for 15.5% alcohol.
