Winespectator (93)
Black cherry and black currant flavors offer a dark fruit expression of Volnay, while white hints of violet, spice and mineral add detail. This is graceful and vibrant, delivering balance and a long aftertaste culminating with a toasty oak note. This will be a fine bottle in 5-7 years.
Jasper Morris (91)
From older vines which are beginning to need replanting. All destemmed. Medium depth of colour. Middleweight, partly quite lively, partly a bit feeling the heat, this comes in at 14% and does show it a little.
