Jancis Robinson (16.50)
This seems more complex because there is more evident oak influence and a hint of struck-match. The texture and the barrel influence has moderated the acidity here, giving better balance than on the other Lamy St-Aubins just tasted. Tight, bright and harmonious. (JH)
Jasper Morris (92)
Lovely pale yellow, with juicily ripe fruit. The bouquet becomes spicier and riper with time in the glass. The palate though is balanced and very persistent, with a high class aftertaste that lingers more than most.
