Cask sample. Floral notes, plenty of refinement and lift on the nose Not a blockbuster but shows the elegance one can find in Pommard. Spicy dark fruit on the finish. Firm tannins – give this 6–12 months and it will be delicious. Should be GV. (AWH)

From four plots. Deep crimson to purple, with a good weight on the nose, flirts with volatility. Plenty of energy on the palate though, an excellent robust yet also plush red fruit and a fine finish. Drink from 2027-2035.
