Once again, the 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint Georges (Maison Louis Jadot) is one of the real successes in Jadot’s négociant portfolio. Offering up a deep-pitched bouquet of cassis, sweet wild berries, grilled squab, orange rind and rich soil tones, it’s medium to full-bodied, layered and elegant, with refined tannins lively acids and promising depth at the core.
