There is a bit more volume and richness to the more obviously mineral-inflected flavors that possess an attractive mid-palate texture that contrasts somewhat with the rustic, firm and bitter cherry-inflected finale. At least some patience suggested so that more depth can develop.
Jasper Morris (91)
Rich dense purple with noticeably more stuffing for the nose. Less immediate perfume, more fruit weight and this is born out on the palate, again with good density of dark fruit. Acidity and tannins more covered by the juice, good length. Solid.
