Deep dark cassis colour with black core. Very sweet dark fruit, almost a hint of dark toffee. Powerful with vanilla overlay on the fine cassis fruit. Very smooth though there’s plenty of tannin. Milk chocolate afteraste. Drought led to 40% reduction in yields and lots of concentration.
