Hints of wood and menthol lurk in the background of the equally ripe and fresh nose of plum, violet, rose petal and warm earth. There is again good volume and richness to the fleshy, round and generously proportioned flavors that display good persistence on the balanced and lightly rustic finale that is noticeably firmer.
Jasper Morris (90)
A fresh bright purple. The nose is a little bit more angular than the Bourgogne, more red fruit, raspberry and redcurrant, fills the mouth nicely with good acidity behind.
