Here’s a pretty expression of Friuli’s namesake grape variety. The 2019 Friuli Isonzo Friulano Dolée is just terrific, with a zesty, fruit-driven personality layered with passion fruit, sweet grapefruit, pear and fragrant yellow rose. The finish shows a nice, smooth texture.

This has intense aromas of honey, papaya, melon, lemon curd, toffee and jack fruit. Vanilla and some green bell pepper, too. Full-bodied, ripe and long. Drink now.
