Less floral than the 2021 but richer and suppler in style, Porte Rouge’s 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape is full-bodied and creamy in texture, delivering lush waves of black cherry fruit and a long, velvety finish. It should be a beauty, but note that it’s not scheduled to be bottled until October 2024.
