Robert Parker (87)
Palmer’s 1997 has put on weight since I tasted it a year ago. It is an elegant, medium-bodied, soft, supple wine that will be ready to drink after bottling. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, it displays a deep ruby color, as well as an attractive nose of white flowers and black fruits. Soft, elegant, and seductive.

Classy wine. Lovely berry, plum and floral character. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, fruity finish. Love to drink this stuff.
