The 2022 Chardonnay Rosella’s Vineyard is quite rich and definitely in line with the house style. Oak is all the way at the front of the stage, stepping aside long enough to reveal toasted hazelnut, marzipan and sweet Bartlett pear. Gentle acids push just enough to coast through this thick, creamy wine, but more drive would really wake it up.

The 2022 Chardonnay Rosella’s is a balanced but full-bodied white, broad-shouldered, with a lengthened mouthfeel of ripe pear and peach seasoned by oak spice. Rich and lush in texture, it delivers ample elegance and finesse within a concentrated intensity that reflects the warmth of the vintage and the site, never losing its acid backbone. Enjoy now through 2030.
