Pretty and fresh aromas of poached plum, black cherry and earth give way to lush yet relatively fine middleweight flavors that exhibit very good length on the youthfully austere, dusty and balanced finale. This could use better depth but that should be just a matter of some patience.

Old vines representing 40%, from a plot adjacent to Grèves. The rest is being replanted. Two barrels made. Rich purple, fresh at the edges. A substantial weighty fruit, plums and dark raspberry. Quite firm, a little touch of coconut, some tannins but this should come out well to make a concentrated long-term wine. Drink from 2028-2036.
