Ripe aromas of violet, plum and dark raspberry are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. The succulent and round but lacy middle weight flavors possess a silky mouthfeel though the less complex finish is mildly tangy. This is still quite good as I suspect that the acid tang will soften as the tannins begin to resolve.
