Notes of citrus oil, peaches and green apples introduce the 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Le Sentier du Clou, a fleshy but precise wine with a textural attack and a chalky, medium to full-bodied mid-palate. Colin notes that this is a precocious site that’s fully ripe only at around 13% alcohol.
