Burghound (89)
Firm reduction dominates the underlying fruit at present. Otherwise, there is both good verve and freshness to the supple lighter weight flavors that flirt with dilution on the bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. This is perfectly agreeable but the higher yields of the 2023 vintage are evident.
Jasper Morris (91)
Mostly from Les Crais. A medium density of crimson to the colour. A bit of crushed strawberry, with good concentration, keeps swimming across the palate, balanced tannins, fine length.
