Aromas of glazed lemons, ripe white peaches, dried flowers, white almonds and bright minerality. Medium- to full-bodied, polished and chalky with vivid acidity and a flinty, wet stone and sea shell character to it. Very attractive and fresh. Sleek finish.
Vinous (93)
The 2021 Chardonnay Mon Trajet Bentrock Vineyard is so promising. Soft, delicate contours frame a core of orchard fruit, white flowers, mint and white pepper. Bentrock Chardonnays are typically a bit more nervy than this, but I must say I find plenty to like in this decidedly caressing style.
