Burghound (95)
An ultra-fresh if restrained nose features the essence of red cherry, spice, earth and whiffs of the sauvage as well as an interesting touch of the exotic. There is almost painful intensity to the sleek and markedly mineral-driven flavors that culminate in a chiseled, austere, focused and hugely long finish where the only nit is a suggestion of warmth. This is terrific and recommended.
