A very ripe nose reflects liqueur-like aromas of both red and dark cherry, warm earth and a whiff of the sauvage. The seductive and velvet-textured bigger-bodied flavors brim with dry extract while flashing evident power on the dusty, sappy and strikingly persistent finish. This very compact effort leaves no doubt that it is built-to-age and a wine that is indisputably going to require at least 7 to 8 years first.
