The 2017 du Tertre is medium to deep garnet-purple in color and has herbs, earth and stewed black fruits on the nose with pencils and scorched earth in the background. The palate is medium-bodied, firm, chewy and just a little lean in the mid-palate with a firm finish.

A very aromatic red with spice, mushrooms and berries as well as plums. Medium body. Juicy finish. A blend of 75% cabernet sauvignon, 10% merlot, 10% cabernet franc and 5% petit verdot.
