BOW (8.50)
Falstaff (95)
Iron-oxide and petrichor dominate the nose for a while before ripe, red cherry asserts itself. The body, sumptuous and powerful, has a bright, wild streak, of something unruly but delicious, that lends drama and excitement to this wine. There is concentration, texture and total verve. Unique.
Wine Enthusiast (93)
This is beautifully crafted, with a seductive combination of violet, rose hip, black currant, forest-floor minerality and spice flavors. A super-silky package supported by good acidity and fine tannins, delivering an exquisite finish. Brilliantly full and elegant at the same time.
