Jancis Robinson (16.50)
Animal, round fruit and lots of freshness. Lovely easy, short-term drink. Very easy in its skin. (JR)
Falstaff (88)
Deep dark ruby garnet, youthful reflections, violet rim. Juicy dark berry fruit on the nose, a hint of dried fruit, delicate hint of licorice. Full-bodied on the palate, good complexity, strongly marked by wood at the moment, needs time, chocolate and floral nuances on the finish, good potential, the most reliable Fronsac for me.
