A much earthier nose is also less spicy though there is ample floral influence on the ripe but cool wild dark currant aromas. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the moderately dense and again sleekly textured flavors that flash an abundance of minerality on the balanced, long and complex finale. This is terrific and also warmly recommended.
Jasper Morris (90)
A fresh crimson colour, with some elegance to the bouquet where fresh red cherries meet the alpine strawberries, softly scented. A pleasing supple fruit across the palate, very modest tannins, and good length.
