The 2022 Chardonnay Stellenbosch comes from a plot around four kilometers from False Bay at 400 meters up the Helderberg Mountain, which slows down the growth cycle. This spent 12 months in 30% new French oak, then it was racked, blended and moved to tank to rest for six months. This has a wonderfully vibrant bouquet that makes an immediate impression: yellow fruit, hints of peach skin, egg whites and light almond scents.
