Bright oranges, earth, heather, violets, bracken, tar and sandalwood make for a very compelling nose. Full-bodied and compressed on the palate with grainy, grippy tannins and loads of zesty, enticing red fruit. Medium-long on the finish.

Tasted blind. Mid ruby. Compact nose that is yet to open up fully and with a quite pure, tangy cherry fruit palate. Long, succulent and deep with plenty of fruit framed by grainy tannins. (WS)
